About Sav-A-Dock

Sav-A-Dock is a patented bumper system designed to protect your dock and boat from damage. Engineered for versatile installation on docks—either horizontally or vertically—Sav-A-Dock ensures long-lasting protection for your investment. With a quick and easy installation process that takes under 20 minutes, safeguarding your property has never been simpler. Developed on Lake Martin, Sav-A-Dock combines innovation with convenience.

Sav-A-Dock was created by three local partners—Eric Baker, Terry Robertson, and Steve Dean—who saw a need for a better way to protect boats and docks on Lake Martin. They noticed common problems like boats banging against docks, cumbersome hanging bumpers, and the wear and tear on dock trim. Determined to find a solution, they developed and patented Sav-A-Dock after extensive testing and refinement.

For the past four years, Sav-A-Dock has been successfully installed at various locations around Lake Martin, including Harbor Point gas docks, Blue Creek boat launch, and Chucks Marina. Our goal is simple: to provide a reliable and effective way to keep every dock and boat on Lake Martin and beyond safe and secure.

    FOUNDER

"I looked everywhere for something to protect my boat and dock but couldn’t find an effective option. At that point, I knew that one would need to be developed and Sav-A-Dock Bumper Systems is the result of that need. I am proud to be a part of the team that has worked to make this a successful reality for us and our customers."

  • Terry Robertson

    FOUNDER

"Our company was formed to come up with a solution to a major problem. One that each of us experienced due to living on the lake as do, millions of others around the nation. Through the collaboration of three entrepreneurs, multiple prototypes, and a lot of days of hard work we achieved what we set out to accomplish. We developed a product that meets consumers' demands, is top quality, patented, and best of all made in the USA. We get to work every day in a family atmosphere doing something we all love and believe in. We are very thankful to the people who have purchased and used our product and spoken so highly of it. We look forward to all those people who will purchase and use it in the future."

    FOUNDER

"With a background in aerospace problem-solving and process control, we fabricated a prototype that became a provisional patent and was then granted a full patent by the USPTO. The end product solves the boat and dock damage problem and eliminates expensive repairs."
